Krasnodar, 19 May – Yug Times. New family leisure facilities will appear on Sochi’s beaches ahead of the 2026 summer season.
One of the new attractions is a children’s amusement area with a trampoline centre that has opened on Mayak Beach. The new space is designed for family recreation and expands leisure opportunities on one of the resort’s most popular beachfronts.
“Improvement works and preparations for the bathing season are currently under way on Sochi’s beaches,” said Sochi Deputy Mayor Sergei Somko. “Under the Choose Sochi concept for the 2026 summer season, which sets standards for landscaping, staff qualifications and unified design, beach operators are upgrading infrastructure and checking the readiness of equipment and public areas.”
More than 180 beaches are expected to open in Sochi for the coming season. This year, a unified design standard has been introduced for beach equipment and service facilities, along with standardised uniforms for staff. Cafés and retail outlets have also been brought into line with a single architectural and stylistic concept.
Beach conditions in Sochi are monitored daily, with 30 specialists involved in inspections.
