Krasnodar, 13 May – Yug Times. Authorities in Anapa are set to begin replacing a dangerous section of the city’s main heating pipeline. The city administration hopes the modernisation of the ageing utility infrastructure will ensure reliable and uninterrupted heating supplies for 44 apartment buildings and two social facilities.
“The situation with the heating network in this residential neighborhood has become too serious to be postponed for another year. The necessary works on the main pipeline can only be carried out during the maintenance period between the heating seasons,” said Anapa Mayor Svetlana Maslova.
At the same time, repairs will also be carried out on water supply and drainage networks. Once all works are completed, the road surface will be fully resurfaced with new asphalt concrete.
Due to the replacement works, traffic restrictions will be introduced on Lenin Street. The section between Krylov Street and Lermontov Street will be closed for two months, from 20 May until 1 August.
